High performance in the machining centre

Tool drives for machining centres are usually offered only for lower-speed applications. Our high-frequency motor spindle 4033 DC-T offers an interesting alternative to this. With a broad range of speeds from 5,000 to 60,000 rpm, the DC technology power pack is convincingly versatile and powerful. Together with up to 19 Ncm of torque, the spindle is therefore ideally suited for machining centres and also handles CAD/CAM machining of the hardest materials such as zirconium or titanium without any problem.

More torque for milling spindles & Co.

With our high-frequency inverters e@syDrive 4624, 4625 and 4626, the maximum torque for motor spindles in the low-voltage range, such as those used as milling spindles, for example, can be increased by up to 40%. This allows not only the safe bridging of short-term load peaks but also the attainment of a constant spindle speed even under high loads as well as the significant optimisation of continuous operation.

Shorter throughput times

Over 50% runtime optimisation: Conversion to a new milling tool can make machine tools much more efficient. In this case, the replacement of the existing drive technology with SycoTec motor spindle 4033 AC-LN15 almost tripled the speed. The machining time was therefore reduced by more than half. And all with a manageable effort of about half a day of conversion time and the involvement of only two employees.
